Wenlock has had an extremely active weekend. While Mandeville was off with the school cross – country team, Wenlock has been to tennis with John and Susie at Newman Collard (he had a taster session) and then on to cricket coaching with John at Liss Cricket Club (near the Spread Eagle). Surely Mandeville can’t fit more into his weekend than this?
Amazing scenes at Kwik Cricket Club this afternoon as Tessa took 4 wickets in seven balls before rain brought a premature end to play. At the heart of this was a fantastic hattrick, bowling Jack P and John G before Jack P holed out to James VS to complete a famous moment for Tessa. Not content with this Tessa, in her next over, removed Catriona to complete a four wicket haul.

Our second session with Hampshire coach, Charlie, was a lot of fun. We focused on bowling in this session and Charlie taught them the correct bowling technique before we played small sided games.
Today Class AS were luckily enough to benefit from some specialist coaching from Charlie, one of Hampshire’s coaches. He worked with the children on catching and fielding drills before we played a game of continuous cricket. Some highlights are captured below.
