Estimating Angles

In Numeracy today, the children looked carefully at angles and how to estimate them. In order to prepare for an angles investigation tomorrow, we asked the children to compete against each other using an interactive game on Nrich’s website called (funnily enough) Estimating Angles. The children scored points according to how close they were to the actual size of the angle. Mr Stanley joined in and was unbeaten at the end of the session (although he hadn’t faced the similarly unbeaten Toby) and had the highest score with 80/100.

This is a great game for children to play against their parents and a link to the website is below.
