Year 6 made their annual visit to Thinksafe at Queen Elizabeth Country Park today. The activities included sessions on handling dogs properly, stranger danger, fire safety, staying safe in the water, shopping safely and identifying social and domestic abuse. Each session was a fifteen minute workshop with practical activities where the children had to respond to different scenarios or questioning. The Children did very well and it was obvious how much they’d learned from previous visits from the fire service.
