Class AS are continuing to use maths lessons to look at how energy can be saved. Last week we looked at how leaving electrical equipment on standby could add £76 to your annual electricity bill. The first task the children had to perform was to make ‘Evil Standby’ a wooden spoon shaped figure who could be placed in areas of ‘standby danger. ‘The children were tasked with finding items around their houses that could cost additional money if they were left on standby. The children emailed in photos of Evil Standby by those devices. These are displayed below
