Yesterday Class AS were part of the school trip to the Paralympics at the ExCel Arena in London. Not only did we get to see the boccia (although we didn’t get to see David Smith), but we also watched a game of sitting volleyball between Egypt and Bosnia. The call for crowd participation suited us down to the ground and Liss children were some of the loudest people in the arena. This resulted in lots of positive comments from the MC and the commentators.
A massive ‘thank you’ to Miss Greetham for organising the trip and special thanks to Mrs Davy, Mrs Miles and Mrs Murphy for their help. Some of the children’s diary entries about the trip will be published tomorrow.
