3D Nets

In numeracy at the moment we are studying shape. As part of our 3D shape work we asked the children to construct nets of 3D shapes using cocktail sticks and blu  – tack. The green group were set the task of designing and making nets using paper, pencil ruler and compasses. For each net that was made the children had to list its properties. The children really enjoyed the work and some photos are included below.
