Greek Vases

This half term Class AS have been working with Mrs Horrocks to design and make their own Greek vases. This included studying the vases the Ancient Greeks made, using papier mache to form the vases and then looking at original pots to give them ideas for their own vases. The completed vases have now been filmed with the children’s voiceovers and are available to view below.

I hope the class made sure Mr Stanley wasn’t cheating when he did his jump! Is he training for the Olympics by any chance?!

The class wouldn’t let me get away with anything, but they did applaud when I jumped over 2 metres! To say I was worried when Elyse jumped is an understatement!

It is so good to see the classes accomplishments – and to pass them on to friends and relatives. Everyday things in the class that we would never know about are a pleasure to read and share!

Lovely vases and descriptions everyone. Well done!

  3. Louise Pearce says:

The vases look lovely, very realistic with their Greek-style decoration.
